A compilation of a series of computer-generated abstract emo selfie portraits generated by a neural network (styleGAN2) trained on 600 images of emo boy/scene queen myspace selfies scraped from image search.

The project attempts to spark a bittersweet nostalgia for the style, scene, and musical genre that arose in popularity circa the mid 2000's, during a time of myspace selfies, AOL instant messenger, and Van's Warped Tour.
