This work began while I was still a visual arts student. Professor Blagojco Dimitrov proposed an exercise where we drew a classmate from different angles on tracing paper. When we layered the sheets, a new figure emerged, which allowed him to introduce the theme of Cubism to the students. I retrieved these sheets from a few years ago and decided to revisit, reinvestigate, or reinvent them. I added two more drawings to these, made now on different paper. One was done with charcoal, using an image found in a magazine where there are these 12 passport-sized photos side by side, forming a kind of grid. The other, done with pen and colored pencil, depicts elements that are often essential to my artistic process.
