There was a time when houses breathed.
Ancient Greeks and Romans used to illuminate and mitigate the environment through the rooms arrangement and the collection of rainwater in a central space, the impluvium, from which a milder breeze was naturally generated, such as a breath.
Impluvium 2258 is a residence of the future that draws on past architectural logics to bring its own life to the habitable envelope we call home. The geometries of Impluvium 2258 attempt to recreate a place in which the home's vital activity can generate itself in the most natural way possible and spread arterially through the entire structure.
