Special Mint for the 1-yr Anniversary of 'Strange History'
_
After major success in the Strange History FND World, this is the 5th mint, in addition to my 4 original works, that depict gender swapped accounts of famous historical deaths.
// The Strange History:
Thích Quảng Minh was a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist nun who became renowned for her act of self-immolation on June 11, 1963, in Saigon, as a protest against the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government.
Her dramatic protest was aimed at highlighting the severe religious oppression and the discriminatory policies favoring the Catholic minority over the Buddhist majority. Seated in the lotus position at a busy intersection, Thích Quảng Minh doused herself in gasoline and set herself alight, remaining composed and silent as the flames engulfed her.
Her sacrifice became a symbol of the struggle for religious freedom and human rights.
