Catherine de' Medici, (13 April 1519 – 5 January 1589) – Queen of France

Catherine was not only an Italian noblewoman but also both the queen consort during her marriage to King Henry II and queen regent of France while her children came to age to rule. The years during which her sons reigned have been called The Age of Catherine de’ Medici due to her significant influence. Without her it's unlikely her sons would have remained in power. She ruled during a time of religious civil wars and complex challenges, but she was able to maintain the functioning of the kingdom and persevere through to become the most powerful woman in 16th-century Europe.

Wearing a VR headset and equipped with her motion controllers, Caterina runs the Kingdom of France with a steady hand, hardened over time. Ties to her Medici lineage as well as France surround her and if you look closely enough, you can discern the cryptocurrency that she favors. Paratus ludio one!
