'Forest Reflections'
New Forest, Hampshire, England
Artist - Michael Hartley
A tranquil woodland scene, discovered on an autumnal day in the New Forest, England.
To the right of the bridge is Rhinefield ornamental drive. Mighty trees, planted in the 1850s, line the lush roadway. You see giant redwoods and huge Douglas firs. An Arboretum houses a collection of trees from many countries.
I stood in a shallow stream, to capture the bridge, trees and reflection. If you visit, you might hear the rippling water, the birds calling, or deer running through the woods.
