First light breaks along the quiet shores of Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park - Feeling as if I had the entire world to myself, I sat along the waters' edge & admired the slow burn of sunrise grace the mountain peak. Feeling the lack of early morning caffeine, I slowly made my way into the frigid glacial lake nearly 12,000 years in the making.
These are the moments I look back on with the utmost appreciation for life. Finding solace in time spent with oneself; "reflecting" on perspective.
As I sat in the water early on, I saw an older man in a canoe far in the distance and loved how nostalgic the moment felt, almost like a child back home in New Hampshire. This is technically a composite piece, with the canoe being overlaid onto the raw from an image taken at a later point in order to accurately replicate my original memory
