My peaceful place, day dreaming,
where everything would be simple, once again.
A place where pain doesn’t exist,
where to run away and be myself once again.

When I was told as a little girl “ are you day dreaming again? ” , I used to feel bad about it. Surrounded by fearful adults scared to dream is not easy when you enjoy being in your imagination, dreaming, creating characters, and fantasy worlds that you bring to life with your pencils.

Afterwards, as a young woman in my community, the goal was to get a husband and have children…”Art? That’s a waste of time” … For a few years I tried to meet their expectations, but there was a time when I didn’t listen any more. I went back into my imagination to create art and since then I can proudly say I AM A DAYDREAMER!
