The best place to come of age is Uptown.

This piece was inspired after a friend asked me to draw a butterfly. I was working by my son, and as I saw him, he was holding a Metrocard from my wallet. I envisioned him growing older, exploring the city like I once did. The transformation of my toddler to a teenager in my brain led me to this work.
