On September 2019, I single-handedly experienced one of the best aurora shows in my chasing career, as it was aligned with the perfect location (Storvatnet, Senja island, Norway), the ideal conditions (no wind, crystal clear skies) and timing (right as the aurora exploded).
The totally still fresh waters of the lake allowed for the perfect mirror of that flaming crown shape happening right in front of me, as the low Fall mist added to this surreal, etherial experience.
