This animated work is the artist's first audiovisual NFT. The piece is based on a vector-based digital drawing from the artist's Metagraph series. "Urbanite" was originally drawn in 1999 on a Mac 8600 using a Wacom tablet in Illustrator 8. The piece was reborn as an NFT 22 years later using Adobe Animate. The original audio track includes recordings made by the artist while living in NYC's East Village.
