Havana, Cuba - 2015

Self-appointed 'manager/caretaker/cleaner/slave', (her own words) Raquel manages a self-catering apartment in the central part of the city. She has the manner of a provincial B&B owner, while being very sweet-natured and attentive. I photographed her in her own apartment among her hoarded possessions, several television sets, and piles of newspapers she refuses to get rid of.
