Justice Slumbers

Justice Slumbers is a dive into the horrific realities of the degrading Nigerian Legal System. The words used came from meticulous research citing national dailies and reliable open news sources; topics such as the Criminal and Penal Code, Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, prison population and political gymnastics of the Nigerian Judicial system. The reference was taken from the 2019 presidential election petition, during which, lawyers representing both parties or as witnesses were, sleeping or involved in other interests.
A total of two hundred and ten (210) words were used for this painting.
