Have you ever laughed from too much pain?
Think about it.
When was the last time you laughed?
Now, return to now. When was the last time you couldn’t cry, even though your sadness was overwhelming? When you couldn’t talk about it, even with your closest friends?
Now, I want you to think about the Joker—the symbol of chaos and tragedy.
Do you recall how he laughed at his own pain?
Maybe you’re not the Joker. Maybe you’re just hiding your grief. Driving at high speed on the highway, or drinking so much at a bar that all you want is to get through the moment.
Do you know how lonely we are when we’re in pain?
We all have a dark side a part of ourselves we keep hidden for fear of being judged.
The exhaustion began the moment we decided to hide all our wounds.
When I painted , I'm filled with tears and smiles, for all the days that had passed and become part of my memories.
There is no savior and that’s the truth.
This painting was created in 2024 using acrylic on a 50 x 70 cm canvas.
