Sango, the third Alaafin (King) of the Oyo Kingdom, a royal ancestor and deity of the Yoruba ethnic group in Nigeria. Oral tradition described him as powerful with a voice like thunder and a mouth that spewed fire when he spoke. He's worshipped by Yoruba's who also were brought to the America's through the Atlantic slave trade that brought which results to the worship of Sango to Trinidad, Grenada, Cuba and Brazil.
