This collection of 3 pieces +1 (“VIP Room” airdrop for those who collect one of the works) aims to tell a story, a memory from a time long past for me, set in the 1990s in Milan. Those were years when the city had a unique vibrancy, especially at night. I always found Peep&Shows to be terrible places, where unfulfilled individuals went in search of some paltry satisfaction. Yet, many realities lived in these places.

Today, only a few of these establishments remain open in Milan, and I wanted to tell my story through one of them, a place where echoes of Milan's hedonistic 'Milano da Bere' era lingered, trying to be transgressive. The smell of smoke seeping from the velvet, the neon signs, the subpar drinks. Despite my negative opinion, I was always drawn to and intrigued by them.

I have recreated some "iconic" situations that occurred inside Peep&Shows. The bar encounter where the evening would begin, the private room where euros were spent by the minute to watch a private show through an initially opaque glass, the spy room where numerous booths overlooked a room, allowing you to spy on a decadent erotic show, and the legendary VIP room.

This work is simply a melancholic glance at past moments frozen in time.
