Curator's Statement

"Despite its simple, lifeless form, Danbo resonates with people worldwide, embodying the struggles and triumphs of everyday life.

The character’s iconic presence, often depicted in scenarios that mirror human experiences, allows viewers to project their own emotions onto this seemingly fragile figure, reminding us all that resilience can come in the most unexpected forms.

Through Tahalich, we witness Danbo not just as a meme or toy but as a vessel for storytelling—one that inspires reflection on our own paths of personal and collective transformation."
