An exploration of how the biological and bionic might interface in alternate planes of reality. How do the hyphae of the vast mycelium networks of the world dream of our digital identities?

This series is a hybrid 3D/2D style borne from blending 3D AI generated text to image outputs with my 2D hand drawn illustrations. A merging of the human and machine – trying to find commonality and connection beyond known realities.

All Hyphaeon beings are evolutions of this mix of works which include 2 of my human made digital illustrations and 2 newly generated 3D style outputs pulled from the words in my imagination as vital new ingredients to help make the most promising substrate to spawn these new beings.

'Interpreter No.01' was the first entity that made contact. That found a voice amongst the signal that was emitted across the onchain mycelium network.

The first to figure out how to make sense. She is the origin story of this species and the herald of other 'Interpreters' now serving as the junction between worlds.

Our dreamers help us imagine new worlds. They unbind us from our constraints. Everything that takes root amongst the mycelial undergrowth dreams of shooting upwards and outwards in all dimensions. Dreamers sprout new origin stories across vast possibilities.

Some have told of a 'Wanderer' that has flown off on a spore so far they don't remember where they started. Others have met a 'Weaver' that has found a way to alchemise the dreams of many in to the dream of one.

We are the 'Watcher' and the witness, the wandering mind and the uniter of all our collective experiences throughout this vast network – from soil to server and back again.
