"My background in Curaçao has deeply influenced my artistic perspective. Growing up on this multicultural Caribbean island, known for its vibrant culture, languages, and diverse population, I was exposed to various influences. Speaking four languages—Dutch, English, Papiamentu, and Spanish—and living among over 40 nationalities has shaped my worldview."

"The island’s history and the stories of its immigrant communities have inspired my exploration of fashion, culture, and the psyche in my art. My multicultural family and friends and my experiences in the USA have enriched my creative vision.
