I lived out of a Hyundai Accent for a week in Grand Teton National Park. The majority of my time there was spent chasing light and trying to find the best compositions possible. This photograph was a spur-of-the-moment decision. While I was driving I noticed the clouds literally dropping close to the Teton valley. I grabbed my camera from the passenger seat and reacted to the weather. The lone tree and distant mountains show the scale of the monster storm clouds racing across the landscape.
