In Acadia National Park in Maine, shrubs and trees on this rocky hillside are dwarfed by constant high winds and cold temperatures. The deep infrared brings out lush details in the sky, vegetation and rocks, details that can not seen by the human eye.
The deep infrared sensor used for this image has a 50% pass frequency at 830nm, which is beyond what the human eye can perceive. Warmth is rendered as white, while cold is rendered as black.
One 17”x22” Fine Art Archival Piezographic Carbon Pigment Baryta Print is provided with the initial sale.
