Each piece in this collection is an exercise in automatic drawing. A creative process popularised by the surrealist art movement.

It’s a process in which the artist attempts to hand control to the subconscious part of their brain, and in doing so, remove the possibility of conscious decision-making.

This is an exercise I perform often and use as a warm-up routine before painting.
