Lines of Inquiry is a Generative Art series exploring ideas of perception and information, rooted in Ashna Malik’s paintings on canvas, developed into (Processing) code by Siddhartha Mukherjee. This collection of unique movies explores Moiré patterns, emerging from dynamic mathematical functions and colours that have been carefully randomized, giving rise to endless variety. Lines of Inquiry, in its entirety, was exhibited at Method - a subversive art space in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai in May 2023.
