I wanted to create this renaissance piece in reference to the Mona Lisa, but with a depiction of a black woman to serve as a reminder that you can unapologetic, be a woman of color, be powerful ,BLACK, and worthy of receiving your flowers of royalty and celebrated while you're alive.
