On the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack, I created a text art portrait including all the 2606 people who died in the Twin towers of the World Trade Centre building. The 9/11 attack remains one of the most traumatic events of the century, not only for Americans but also for the world. On September 11, 2001, two planes were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, causing both towers to collapse. The collision caused a massive explosion that showered burning debris over surrounding buildings and onto the streets below. The buildings were set on fire, trapping people on the upper floors, and wreathing the city in smoke. In less than two hours, both 110-story towers collapsed in massive clouds of dust. This portrait is made up with the names of all the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
