Monsoon season was in full swing in the month of July when I visited the place, Vizhinjam, one of Kerala's less-explored rocky beaches. Overcast skies and a rough sea made for a tense atmosphere.
There were fascinating patterns in the sky created by rain clouds and sea was beautiful with rock formations. I waited for the sun to go down to capture a decent shot of the sky. While it was sinking, it cast a million shades of gold across the sky, igniting the clouds and ocean like they were on fire. I imagined a blazing sun kissing the darkness!
