I never liked the rain and today it caught me. Squishing in puddles I ran for the hills. I had to find a warm and cozy place to wait out the rain. I mentioned a barely opened door and decided to stay in there. In several minutes streets got empty and the city was obsessed with thousands of flashes and crowds of tourists turned to the ghost town pouring every single one who wanted to stand on its footworn cold asphalt with a freezing shower. Meanwhile buried myself in the warm quilt and sucking tea like a little child I was watching everyone who was entering the cafe. This place was the perfect bait for single onlookers straying in the city like me. Doors opened and the cold breeze literally brought her to the doorstep of our cafe. She stood dripping wet watching all around and pursed her lips because of hesitation if she could in. She wore funny red galoshes and an emerald scarf which she put on as baroness. She was perfect and I fell in love with her. I never liked the rain.
