Sedna, named after the Inuit goddess of the sea & all its creatures, may be my favorite planetoid. It takes 11,400 Earth years for this trans-Neptunian object to orbit our Sun, making it one of the most distant known bodies in the solar system. Due to its large size despite being located near the edge of the Sun's heliopause, there is a possibility Sedna was captured from another star system. I envision its surface being extremely rugged yet slightly fleshy in appearance, a true blood moon. Perhaps it is home to E.T. Vamps? 90377 Sedna is painted on a 24" x 24" extra deep wooden panel. It is #3 in my Whales Ink Art Celestial Collection. I plan to paint the entire solar system and beyond.
