A lonely man is reading a journal in a library and feels overwhelmed. He walks around and comes across a park where children are playing, making him envious. He eventually reaches a field of tall grass, and as he walks through it, he reaches a strip of mowed grass in the center.

He contemplates what his life would have been like if things had gone differently before heading home. Walking through the field gives him a new perspective and the realization that he is in control of his own destiny.
