This piece is part of my Levitation series consisting of floating figures that are metaphors for consciousness and awareness depicted in weightless bodies. The levitation is a representation of being in a state of flow and visual manifestations of physical and spiritual self-awareness of the higher self. This figure glows to represent that we are all creatures of light having a physical experience.

The piece’s composition has a glowing floating woman as the centerpiece as she appears to dance with the buildings. The background is created in a course brushed rendering of curvilinear perspective, mimicking the natural curvature of vision.
