This is a real scene of a real event in nature. A massive 'jellyfish' red sprite, some 50 miles wide, firing above a distant storm system .
Despite it being so quick at about 1/20th of a second, it was bright enough to leave a reflection in the lake.
One of the most detailed specimens I have been able to get of these marvels of the night sky.
