Abstract designs expressing the experience of Dr. Jaredos Scottsley as his study of obscure and possibly pseudepigraphal works of Kierkegaard dragged him further and further into dissociation.

The mess on his desk and the letters and thoughts contained gradually became less and less tethered to purpose and sense. Eventually, his students were asked to investigate his odd behavior and they discovered that Dr. Scottsley had built a shrine of stationery and scribbles, diagrams and odd notes - and that he was either a genius or completely insane.
