Each ounce of my skin like glitter of thoughts
taking me back to everything that has been,
just wondering how I can pick and choose
to become and be seen...

Sometimes I dress up and feel the need
to be valued, heard and taken care of,
and then when the festive season arrives,
I take myself to the corner of my heart...

Listen, can you listen to my heaving heartbeats?
Feel, can you feel my need to be spoken to?
Believe, can you believe I'd have lost chances, as well?
Admire, can you admire my strength?

I learnt to love, learnt to give, learnt to just be,
yet as every year descends like a full moon,
I look at the stars and pray for thee,
pray to myself to realize my internal glee,
to understand my own box of joy,
to trust the process and the universe,
for I know I came here with a bigger purpose
and I might not leave, I might not just leave..

Self talk is so important to make our life a little better every single day and to connect with that dialogue is what we have attempted.
