274 is the latest in a series of images inspired by the state of the world ocean. The concept of kipple, as defined by Philip K. Dick, is central to my artwork. These images are mostly of digital objects accumulating, propagating and arranging themselves according to the laws of chance. Serendipity and randomness play significant roles but the results are always subject to my agreement and acceptance.

Digital kipple as a basis for art making is one thing, and though I draw inspiration from my personal physical kipple collection (yes), kipple or trash, litter and garbage have no place in the world ocean. I may find detritus visually interesting but the world would be a better place if there was less of it. Make more art, less trash.
