250 is from a recent series of images inspired by underwater photography and the state of the world ocean. The concept of kipple, as defined by Philip K. Dick, is an important part of my work. The images are mostly of digital objects that accumulate, propagate and often seem to arrange themselves. Chance and randomness play significant roles in creation of the work but the result is always subject to my agreement and acceptance.

Digital kipple as a basis for art making is one thing, and though I draw inspiration from my personal physical kipple collection (yes), kipple or trash, litter and garbage have no place in the world ocean. I may find detritus visually interesting but the world would be a better place if there was less of it. Make more art, less trash.
