"Power" is an over 6-month mediation on my artistic career. Working on this painting had been the one thing I did when I felt like giving up; it saved me from quitting my dreams. Innumerous emotions were poured into this painting: fear, anger, resentment, pride, passion, hope... During this long period, I also gradually grew to become the woman I had always aspired to be. Perhaps it always has to take this much courage and pain to let go of what's secure but limiting to us so that we can step into our true power.
