It was a Friday night, we were heading to our home in Mayhem after spending a week with my grandmother in Dolan. Nothing special, it's an 8 hours drive, I was tucked under a warm blanket and looking at the street lights passing by. My dad was careful though, it's been raining and snowing non stop and I could hear the the lady in the radio talking about the closed routes and stuff.
Everything was okay and then I asked my dad 'Can we stop for dinner please' he turned on the blinker and I remember feeling so cozy I told them to bring something for me to eat.
My mom and dad went out and when they came they were arguin, I don't know what it was but like my mom always said, everything's okay if you let it out. I guess they were letting it out at each other, guess that's what parents do. I keep telling myself everything's okay but I know it's not.
