This image was taken on Fatu Hiva in French Polynesia during my exploration of the Marquesas islands.
This is one of the last photo I took from The Marquesas islands as our boat left the ridged coastline of Fatu Hiva. The sun was hitting the cliffs in spots through the clouds giving it a deep mysterious atmosphere... If you look closely you will even see the water splash like a geyser thanks to the tide movement through holes in the rocks.
