Time is no more than an illusion we created to maintain certain control over society, and so controlling our own lives. This is no different from the illusion humans created with the concept of money. We can probably say that time, just like money, only exists if we actually believe it does.

Anyways, it doesn't really matter anymore if time exists or if it is just a social construct, we just can't get enough of it. But, we also need it to move as fast as possible when we are in the verge of an accomplishment or in pain.

This two-sided story appears to be part of our lives since we got any consciousness.

That's why we want to KILL time.

It's f---- asphyxiating and no matter how hard you try to stop it, it just not going to. No matter how eager you are to move forward, it will stay the same.

Frustrating but fascinating, ain't it?
