The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the world's most iconic architectural landmarks and has been recognized as a popular attraction for lovers visiting New York City since the 1990s.
It is a suspension bridge spanning the East River from Brooklyn to Manhattan in New York City. A brilliant feat of 19th-century engineering, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first bridge to use steel for cable wire, and during its construction explosives were used inside a pneumatic caisson for the first time.
I took this photograph in 2021 using a medium format camera called a Holga 120GCFN. The Holga often has light leaks and gives natural vignettes to the photograph taken. What you see is naturally created and on the negative, not enhanced in Photoshop. Only minimal processing and level adjustments were done.
