it's taken ten years of waking
to walk this path
to circle
back to the beginning
and meet myself
where I am truly at

a dream

at last
I believe

I am an artist.

and this is no bold proclamation
but self actualization

no longer
sleepless
dreamless
monochrome sky

my eyes only behold stars
and everything is so bright
sober
and why else would I survive
but to learn to love
and trust
and paint full color words with this life
