If a koi swims upstream to the dragon gate, it will turn into a dragon and rise to heaven.

Being the dragon or succeeding aren't always the outcomes of swimming upstream in real life. Being your true self can be difficult, especially when it requires being against the norm of the social. You will experience many forms of disappointment if you attempted to swim against the tides.

But don't be sad for having to swim upstream more than going along with things that people want you to be and forget who you truly are.
