This image is my take on the myth of Saturn devouring his son, made famous by Francisco De Goya. This depicts the old Greek myth of Saturn-AKA- Cronus- who fearing that he would be overthrown by one of his children ate each and every one of them at once they where born.
The old and established, fearing for their power, killing and eating the young. Is this not a fitting image for our time?
Still, there is hope. Saturns wife- Ops- hid his third son Jupiter from him, and he later usurped Saturn.
