There is a certain beauty in the emptiness that surrounds us when we are alone. Even in isolation, freedom can be found. When we are forced to retreat from the world and find solace in our own company, we can contemplate the power and beauty of solitude.

This image was captured the last time I went out to shoot in the Canadian rockies before moving away from the place I had called home for the past 6 years to embark on a new creative journey. This piece represents a willingness to let go of the past and embrace the unknown.
