It was the afternoon of a spring day, just before the snow melted.
It was a cold and cloudy day, and I walked down the slope where few people were around to see this tree.
As the sun was setting, the thick clouds suddenly parted and light began to pour down on this tree.
This is a popular spot for taking pictures, but perhaps because of the bad weather, there was no one there but me today.
I wondered if it was a small reward from nature for my perseverance.
