METAGRAPH ANIMATION #6 // This piece is based on the eponymous vector-based digital drawing from the artist's Metagraph series. “Transcape” was originally drawn in Illustrator in 2004 and reborn as a Techspressionist audiovisual NFT 18 years later. The composition is inspired by a diverse range of sources including brutalist architecture and the cyberpunk literature of William Gibson. The original soundscape contains samples of heavy machinery collaged with recordings of a traditional Japanese Shinto ceremony.
