"Arima" ( Euskara for "Soul") is an audio visual loop that continuously evolves and changes, reimagining my ancestors and their cultural heritage in a contemporary context.

I worked with analog hardware and AI to explore my native Mexican and Basque heritage using archival and family photos as well as self portraits. The artwork features circuit-bent hardware and my original music.

"Arima" premiered at the The Lobkowicz Palace in Prague in November 2022.
