My great great grandmother Jacinta Martínez was born in September 1886, in the town of San Diego de Alejandría, Jalisco to Francisca and Hesiquio Martínez.

She married my great great grandfather Gregorio Mendoza in 1906. She gave birth to my great grandfather August Mendoza in 1911. They had seven children in 17 years. She and her family ventured to the US sometime in the 1920's, starting in Texas and eventually settling in Chicago, where she passed away at the age of 66.
