Before traveling towards the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, I planned a sunrise expedition that would take place at a very iconic magical town named Cholula, Puebla. The plan was to capture a stunning sunrise at the sixteenth century church located in the heart of downtown that sits above a massive pyramid . From above, there are sweeping views of the volcanoes that surround the city.

Upon our arrival, I encountered a dozen or more stray dogs that surrounded our car. I thought to myself, " If I don't get out of the vehicle now I might miss an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity. " I braved the decision by risking the possibility of being bitten by them. Luckily, the drone shoot went well even though they surrounded me as I was capturing some of the most incredible scenes I’ve ever witnessed. We spent only one day in Puebla and made the most of it.

There is no better way to start the day than by accomplishing your goals.
