Somehow even when I was supposed to be the main character in my own life, I had managed to spend so much time constantly waiting to be replaced by someone more special. As if my mere existence was a flaw, as if, I was undeserving, even of that.

I must tell you, it is a deeply sad thing to live your life holding space for other people’s happiness and not your own.
